More stuff.......

We woke up at 7:30am and ate breakfast. Breakfast was up in a cool wooden fort kinda thing. We had bread, a smoothie, roasted banana, fruit, hot chocolate, and tea. As you can tell, Mido is known to have many fruits. After breakfast, we took a taxi to a cascade, where we rode across the cloud forest to the other side. Then we took a very green, quiet trail to a waterfall. I have to say, it was very interesting. I felt like I was a person from the movies who got stranded in the wilderness. Or like in other movies, where any moment, a giant dinosaur will lunch at you from behind the bushes. Well, it was pretty fun.
Who am I kidding, I hated that hike. I confess! Honestly, I could feel pain coming from everywhere in the body. It was awful. Mom and Dad made us do the whole thing, it took an hour. It also doesn't help when you're sister is acting like a total snob. Ok, just because I accidentally sprayed her with the bug spray, doesn't mean she has to eat me alive! You should all know by now that when I say "accidentally," it actually means "on purpose."
Don't tell Mom I said that! If you do, you are in deep, deep, guacamole. Dun, dun, dun!
Anyway, after all that torture, we finally got back up. Guess what, Mom made us hike the other direction for another hike! Luckily it was only fifteen minutes down. Unfortunately, it was all downhill on the way down, so guess what it was on the way back. Up!!! I felt like I was dying of starvation. True, we did have crackers, but those taste like moldy doughnuts. When we got to the top, we rode back.
Yay, to the fun part now! Zip lining. We started off with an easy one, not so high, and not so fast. It was a little scary, but once you got the hang of it, it's pretty cold! I'm not sure what got ahold of me, but I decided to do butterfly! It was actually a stupid idea for someone who's afraid of heights, I didn't regret it though. Butterfly is where you hang upside down, with you're arms and legs spread out wide. You have to go with a guide, of course, just for safety precautions. It was scary awesome! Dad and I were the only ones who did it.
Number 8 and 10 and the fastest. 10 being the most fast. Since I'm younger, I had to go with a guide on those too. Once we were done, we walked back home. We ate dinner near the western side of town, at El Chef. I got a hamburger with fries, Mom got rice, Dad got chiken with vegetables, and Tara got the same thing as me. We played out near the river before going inside to shower. Boy, I'd have to say that it was a freezing shower! But we weren't as cold when we snuggled in our beds for sleep. For some odd reason, I can't post the picture of me doing the butterfly. I you would like to see it, Dad said he'd post it on his. Thanks! Hope he remembers!
